Verdict:

Overall, I thought this box contained a good mix. I'm a little skeptical of the energy boosting powder (to stir into drinks) which hasn't been approved by the FDA. And, I've never used fake eyelashes (people already tell me mine are pretty long) but I can give these to a less blessed friend lol. The candle smells good. the fragrance smells.. citrus-y... There's no alcohol in the hair cream which is good and the eyeshadow does a pretty good smokey eye. 7.72/10

So Fresh, SO Clean: Bentonite Mask Review

Chicas! I just had my first experience with Bentonite clay and ACV (see previous post). My hair felt sqeaky clean! I mixed the two 1:1 until a paste was made. An hour before I got in the shower, I massaged some ACV on my scalp and let it sit. Then I rinsed with warm water, detangled and applied the Bentonite mask. After I rinsed, my hair felt soooo clean.. squeaky clean as a matter of fact. A little too clean if you ask me. So I applied some Palmer's Coconut Conditioner. Let me mention my hair felt SOOO soft here. After I got out the shower, I rubbed some olive oil in.

The Verdict? ★★★★★ (5/5)

Scrub Results

So here are the results of my brown sugar scalp scrub mentioned in a previous post. 

The scrub

Pros: 

- It smelled really good

- It felt like it was working

- It worked really well with the Organix Macadamia Oil Conditioner

Cons: 

- I couldn't tell if it had actually worked! Probably because I used the Curl Smoothie which didn't seem to do much for my hair

I'd have to try again to give you all official stars. If anyone has tried it, please post!

YouTube is Expensive!

I'm sure some of you out there can attest to this - watching YouTube videos is expensive!

You watch 1 video and the natural chica is using a new product. You watch a product review and see what a great job it does on hair. Then at the end of the video, the chica says how cheap it is and where she found it...which of course makes you want to purchase it.

So..needless to say, I've decided to try out some new products. Just ordered them from Amazon/eBay..still have to pick some up from target/CVS but here's the list so far:
